Artlist Unveils Ambitious AI Platform for Creators

Creative tech company Artlist launches a new AI ecosystem—including Artlist Studio and AI Toolkit—aimed at streamlining professional video production.

Artlist, a creative technology company used by more than 50 million creators worldwide, announced an expansive new product roadmap aimed at redefining how video and media are produced in the age of artificial intelligence.

The company revealed plans for a comprehensive AI ecosystem built around three major offerings: Artlist Studio, the AI Toolkit, and Artlist Original 1.0. Together, they are designed to provide creators with a full, production-grade infrastructure powered by advanced AI tools.

The announcement follows a strong year for Artlist. The company reported $260 million in annual recurring revenue in 2025, representing 50 percent year-over-year growth, as it continues to shift toward an AI-first platform.

A New Kind of Creative Platform

At the center of the strategy is Artlist Studio, set to launch in spring 2026. The company describes it as the first true AI production platform for creators—one that replaces endless text prompting with intuitive, visual control.

Within the platform, users will be able to guide every aspect of production, from casting and locations to camera angles and editing decisions. Changes can be made instantly, allowing creators to maintain consistency across projects while working at AI speed. Artlist says the tool is designed for collaboration, reflecting the way real creative teams operate.

Also available now is the AI Toolkit, which consolidates leading AI models for video, image, and voiceover generation into a single environment. The toolkit is intended to serve as a centralized workspace for creators, offering access to current AI capabilities as well as future features such as an AI agent and Smart Canvas.

The third component, Artlist Original 1.0, is a new image generation model trained exclusively on Artlist’s own catalog of high-quality footage. Available today through the AI Toolkit, it produces professional-grade visuals in four styles—Cinematic, Professional, Indie, and Commercial—aimed at filmmakers and marketers alike.

Moving Beyond Standalone Tools

“We’re moving beyond isolated AI tools to build a complete, production-grade creative ecosystem,” said Roee Peled, Artlist’s chief product and technology officer. “Artlist Studio, the AI Toolkit, and our Original model together form a unified creative platform that gives creators real control, consistency, and confidence.”

Ira Belsky, co-founder and co-chief executive, framed the effort as part of a broader mission to empower creators. “Our goal has always been to give creators the freedom to create without limits,” he said. “By evolving into an AI-first ecosystem, we are providing a scalable, end-to-end production platform where the distance between an idea and a professional-grade production is shorter than ever.”

A Rapid Shift Toward AI

The launch caps a year of significant transformation for Artlist. Throughout 2025, the company expanded its AI capabilities, and adoption has accelerated sharply. According to Artlist, use of its AI tools has increased sevenfold over the past year, and 87 percent of users now incorporate AI into their creative workflows.

With its new platform, Artlist is betting that the future of media creation will be defined by seamless collaboration between human creativity and AI-powered production.

“This is only the beginning,” Belsky said. “We will continue to help creators succeed as new AI breakthroughs emerge.”
