Gen Digital and Equifax expand their partnership to combine financial data and digital tools, delivering personalized identity protection and financial wellness services.
Gen Digital and Equifax announced today an expanded partnership to help consumers manage their financial and digital lives with greater confidence and security.
The collaboration will combine Equifax’s consumer financial data with Gen Digital’s technology platforms to strengthen a range of services offered through its well-known brands, including Norton, Avast, LifeLock, and MoneyLion. The companies said the effort is intended to deliver more personalized identity protection, financial wellness insights, and product recommendations.
Under the agreement, Gen will use Equifax’s data assets to refine its consumer-facing tools, while Equifax will integrate Gen’s technology — known as the Engine by Gen platform — into its own services. That integration will allow users of myEquifax in the United States to access tailored financial product options directly through the platform.
“Consumers want simple, trusted solutions that help them make smarter financial decisions and protect what matters most,” said Vincent Pilette, Chief Executive Officer of Gen. “By bringing together industry-leading consumer financial health and fraud data from Equifax and Gen’s consumer-first platforms, we are building a powerful ecosystem that delivers meaningful everyday value to consumers.”

The partnership reflects a broader trend among technology and financial services companies to combine data and digital tools in ways that offer more customized experiences to individuals.
“At Equifax, we understand that more data enables better decisions that can help create greater opportunities for consumers,” said Mark W. Begor, Chief Executive Officer of Equifax. “Our partnership with Gen is designed to drive a more complete financial picture of consumers, which ultimately helps people live their financial best.”
The companies said the expanded relationship will help organizations better manage risk while improving the customer experience through more relevant and timely financial recommendations.
