Milan-based Guidoio secures €3.5M to scale its fully digital driving school, offering AI-powered study paths, smart lesson booking, and a modern licensing experience.
Guidoio, the Milan-based startup pioneering Italy’s first fully digital driving school model, has successfully closed a €3.5 million seed funding round. The investment was led by the European venture capital fund 360 Capital, with participation from Azimut Libera Impresa SGR S.p.A.
Founded in 2023 by Lorenzo Mannari and Giuseppe Cavallaro, Guidoio is dedicated to digitizing the entire process of obtaining a driving license, from initial enrollment through to the final exams, specifically targeting digital-native learners.
A Platform Built on Accessibility and AI
Guidoio’s service model emphasizes accessibility, transparency, and flexibility. Through the company’s smartphone application, candidates can manage every step of their journey:
- Administration: Enrollment, document submission, and medical appointment scheduling.
- Practical Learning: Booking lessons with certified instructors near the student’s location.
- Theory Study: Personalized theoretical preparation supported by integrated AI tools.

Two key features underpin the user experience:
- Tutor AI: This feature creates adaptive, personalized study paths tailored to each learner’s progress.
- Smart Lesson Booking: This feature enables students to schedule driving lessons near their homes, simplifying logistics and increasing convenience by connecting instructors with learners more closely.
Lorenzo Mannari, Co-founder and CEO of Guidoio, explained the company’s vision: “A driving license today represents independence, employment, and freedom. Our ambition is to transform this journey into a simple, transparent, and accessible experience, aligned with the expectations of a generation that no longer tolerates bureaucracy and opacity.”

- Team Growth: The company will hire new team members in key roles to support this aggressive national expansion.
- Product Development: The investment will focus on strengthening the e-learning platform to enhance preparation for both theoretical and practical exams. It will also advance the integrated AI features and develop new digital tools specifically for instructors.
Mannari concluded that the blend of “experience, capital, and shared vision” will enable Guidoio to accelerate its establishment of a new standard for digital mobility across Italy—one that is smarter, more accessible, and closer to people.
