Kargo, the leading creative optimization platform, and Ovative Group, collaborated to power the back-to-school American Eagle Outfitters campaign, driving data-driven cross-channel creative optimizations spanning Connected TV (CTV), web, and social media delivering the highest increase in media performance for American Eagle in 2024.

By leveraging Kargo’s technology, American Eagle achieved a 2x lift in sales and a 6-point increase in purchase intent, outperforming industry norms. The key to the campaign’s success was the dynamically personalized CTV ads fueled by real-time data, including product details, prices, promotions, reviews, audience attributes, and location—configured, optimized and delivered in real-time to consumers that captivated on the big screen.

Kargo’s Lighthouse and Runway ad formats on digital display further amplified American Eagle’s fall trends, surfacing personalized apparel recommendations that drove a 2x increase in ROAS and a 3-point boost in brand consideration. The launch of Kargo’s breakthrough new format, Promomax, allowed American Eagle to maximize promotions across three critical stages—retargeting, conquesting, and prospecting—resulting in a 6x increase in ROAS, along with a 3-point lift in both purchase intent and brand consideration.
