CommerceClarity raises €2.7M to transform messy product data into AI-ready retail fuel, slashing operational costs and boosting sales as e-commerce races into an agile future.
CommerceClarity, an Italy-based technology company providing an AI operating system for e-commerce, has closed a €2.7 million pre-seed funding round.
The round was led by IFF (Koinos Capital) and Entourage, with participation from Redstone and Euregio+ (Alpine VC), Vento (Exor), Ithaca Investment, and Vesper Holding.
Automating Product Data Management
The startup addresses a significant operational challenge in digital retail: the complexity and inefficiency of managing vast product catalogues. CommerceClarity aims to modernize workflows that often rely on manual processes, legacy IT systems, and incomplete data—issues that are expected to worsen as AI agents increasingly influence consumer product discovery and purchasing. McKinsey estimates that A.I. could mediate up to $5 trillion in global retail sales by 2030.
The platform is built on a composable architecture that automates the ingestion, enrichment, and validation of product data. It transforms unstructured information into structured, AI-readable content optimized for different sales channels and markets.
“As the complexity of product data keeps growing and AI agents begin influencing what people buy, e-commerce needs intelligent infrastructure to remain visible, discoverable, and competitive,” said co-founder and co-CEO Federico Sargenti.

Growth and Expansion

Its client roster includes Nestlé Purina, Arcaplanet, Cisalfa, and 1000Farmacie.
The company reports that its technology is designed to significantly reduce operational costs and time-to-market while lifting traffic and sales.
The new funding will be used to enhance the company’s infrastructure, preparing it for future AI applications in e-commerce, and to support its international expansion efforts. CommerceClarity currently maintains offices in Milan, Rome, and London.
