Evaro Raises $25M to Expand Digital Care in the UK

NHS-licensed platform Evaro raises $25M to expand embeddable digital healthcare services as demand for primary care outpaces capacity in the UK.

Evaro, an NHS-licensed digital healthcare provider, has raised $25 million in Series A funding to expand its embeddable prescribing and pharmacy infrastructure across the United Kingdom.

The round was led by AlbionVC, with participation from Simplyhealth Ventures, Exceptional Ventures, Cornerstone VC, and BBI.

Founded by medical professionals, Evaro enables consumer-facing brands to offer regulated digital healthcare services directly to their customers without building clinical infrastructure in-house. Its platform supports treatment across more than 80 conditions and has served more than two million patients to date, working with a range of consumer brands.

Evaro’s technology stack includes asynchronous consultations, remote diagnostics, prescribing, dispensing, and aftercare. The system can be embedded into existing digital platforms in a short timeframe, allowing partners to add healthcare services with minimal implementation effort while opening new revenue streams and deepening customer engagement.

“Our focus has been on building infrastructure that allows trusted consumer brands to deliver safe, regulated healthcare for common conditions,” said Dr. Thuria Wenbar, Evaro’s chief executive and co-founder. “That can now be done without each brand having to develop its own clinical systems from scratch.”

The funding comes as pressure on primary care in the United Kingdom continues to mount, driven by prolonged waiting times for general practitioner appointments. Evaro positions its platform as a way to expand access to regulated digital care while easing demand on traditional services.

Looking ahead, the company plans to broaden its reach within the UK and further develop its healthcare-as-a-service model, targeting partnerships that integrate care more seamlessly into everyday consumer platforms.
