Coegi appoints industry veteran Chris Kotyck as EVP of Digital Operations to scale programmatic and social media services across North America.

Coegi, a digital media agency owned by True Independent Holdings, said Monday that it has appointed Chris Kotyck as executive vice president of digital operations.

Based in Canada, Kotyck will oversee programmatic and social media operations across North America, working with clients including TJX Companies and Moderna. The newly created role reflects Coegi’s efforts to scale its operational capabilities across the United States and Canada while expanding its work as a managed services partner to other agencies and direct clients.

Kotyck will report to Tessa Ohlendorf, president of Coegi North America, who said his appointment strengthens the company’s ability to deliver growth-oriented digital services.

“Chris brings deep programmatic expertise, strong investment management experience, and a proven record of building high-performing teams,” Ohlendorf said. “His understanding of partnership-driven growth will be critical as we expand our capabilities across North America.”

Kotyck brings more than 15 years of experience leading digital media and operations teams. Most recently, he led media operations at. Monks Canada, where he oversaw revenue growth through service optimization, maintained low client churn, and achieved consistently high employee retention. Earlier in his career, he helped establish and scale Dandelion Inc., one of Canada’s early Google Marketing Platform resellers, and held senior leadership roles at Postmedia and Rogers, where he launched and expanded programmatic, search, and social offerings.

“I’ve worked with Tessa for years, and the opportunity to reunite at Coegi is a rare one,” Kotyck said. As digital media becomes more accessible and AI-driven tools reshape the industry, he added, agencies have an opportunity to provide deeper, more flexible support to clients navigating a rapidly changing landscape.

The appointment underscores True Independent Holdings’ broader strategy to strengthen leadership across its agency portfolio. “Chris’s appointment is a strategic investment in Coegi’s long-term growth and operational excellence,” said Jack Miller, chief executive of True Independent Holdings.

Kotyck joined Coegi on Jan. 12.
